Gus can't walk!

Oh no, poor little guy, I know absolutley nothing about geese, so I wish I knew more so I could try to help!!!

The improvements he's made are remarkable! I heard a racket coming from the room and I went in to see what was going on and turns out he had stood up and wanted me to know about it! I let him out in the living room and he stood up and walked around just a bit before I put him back in his cage. Thank you soo much for the help and support! Gus and I would be lost without it! I saw your goose house on another thread! very cool! I wish I had the space for something as cool as that!

That is the best news I have heard all day. Yay for Gus!!!! What a lovely sight to see him up and standing.

He's eating like a horse too! He's gone through 4 or 5 dishes of Dandelions and lettuce.

With him toeing in like that it will make it harder for him to stand and walk. Keep up exercise of swimming to help him get that straighten out more. I hope his bone in the knee area is straight. He may always walk like that.

When he walks he tends to be more splayed out rather than bent in. But as long as he recovers and can walk I'm happy.

Make sure he has prime time in swimming because that therapy will be great for him as well as walking. Take him out and walk with him and let him walk with his girlfriend. This will help so much on the little man....
