I reunited Gus with the rest of the flock today. He's up and walking around better than ever before! I'm moving Gus back into the pen with the rest of the flock today,The pen is completely covered and he and Lucy are locked up in the dog house at night. I added the Niacin to the water out in the pen. Of course I'll check in on him frequently to make sure he's doing ok.

From the looks of it Gus has made a full recovery! He's walking around better than ever before! I'm still adding the Niacin to the water when ever I change it out. I try and sit in the pen with them every dayfor about 20 minutes before I release them into the backyard to graze. It really seems to be paying off and even the chickens are becoming friendlier.

So glad to hear that Gus is making a full recovery. The niacin has helped as well with the swimming and exercise. This is all helpful. Congrats.

The weather got nice this weekend so I bought them a pool for the backyard! They wont get in but they will drink from it.....Keeps them and their poop off the patio atleast

Aren't hoses wonderful? I have an idea, I bet if you got in they would. You know just step in.
