Guys are lucky (kind of a rant - I think its sorta funny)

Today has been kind of a rough day for me. For starters its that time of the month so I am naturally irritiable. I started out happy and bouncing, in spite of being horribly sore from marching band. Then around dinner I picked a fight with my brother in which he told me his happiest time was while I was away at camp. Then I came home (from my grandparent's) and for no apparent reason bawled my eyes out while writing a letter to an old friend I haven't talked to in forever. Now having thought about it, I have decided that guys are lucky if they have never had to experience an emotional roller coaster like that!

Also the other day while riding in the car w/my best guy friend, I found out he gets extra freedoms if his parents think we are dating. I on the other had get next to no freedoms if our parents think we are dating. FYI: We aren't dating he just likes the extra freedoms.

......How is that fair?

Do men know how much easier they seem to have it? Maybe there are some perks to being a women i haven't realized yet.

I've got a mother and a sister and believe me, I know how good I have it! No child birth, no menopause, no "time of the month"!! Yes, I have it good!

But then again, we gotta deal with the woman dealing with all of this stuff. So do we really?

I dont think your friend should be taking advantage of you like that though. That's not cool, at all.

Depends on the guys i suppose, everything was created for a purpose.. Men were created to do the hard/dirty work and to entertain women with our stupidity, and women.. Were created to keep us in-line by beating us down everytime we get a big head, and so that there is SOME intelligence in the world

.. Think about it, with every president is a first lady.. And within 99% of the relationships the lady rules.. So if you think about it there has already been a woman president.

ahh the complexities of being female...

... there are many times when it is not easy being a women, then there are other times when it is fantastic.... we where made this way because we have the mental strength to deal with whatever life throws at us without caving in, then after we have taken on the world we need the strength of a man's shoulder to rest our weary heads on.......and to feel the comfort and strength of their arms when they give you a hug and makes you feel all is well with the world.... have you not heard they saying...

Come on girlie chin up...... take supplements all will be well.......

Vit B complex, Oil of evening primrose...will help you through those "difficult" times....

ps Your friend is totally out of order in making his parents beleieve you are dating, that always leads to trouble......

Poor thing I'm sorry you are having it so rough! I really do feel your pain.

I am so glad that all I go through now is the somewhat crazy mood swings! My husband still thinks I'm nuts!

I think what gets me about men (besides what's listed) is that they can take their shirts off! It gets hot and all my friends (since I only have like 3 girl friends, I'm usually with guys) take their shirts off, and I'm left all sweaty and it's just unfair. I don't see why just because our breasts are larger than guys, they need to be covered. Just my opinion. And you should see the looks when i walk around in a bra...

Are bikini's Reallly so different??

True. Very true. Maybe if it wasn't made into such a big deal it'd be fine... who knows? It's just one of those things that gets to me on hot days (like yesterday).
