Please don't take this the wrong way I love seeing the different ideas that people post. They are always interesting but some are just dangerous. What I am referring to are homemade 110 volt water heaters. A bulb in under or on a watering device. Poultry are notoriously sloppy when drinking. They spill and knock over their water. I realize that some of these can be built for a few dollars. Just seems obvious that there is a real chance that you could electrocute your flock or yourself. There are lots of safe reasonable heaters on the market. Why any one would build some of these without consideration for the dangers is beyond me.

Hahahahaha!!!! Ok that's fun..... I have been wanting to build a new aviary to my pigeons.... but don't know what to use... I don't have enough good quality wood.... and it's pretty expensive to get wood good enough to last for long against predators and weather.... each wood bar is 60 $..... so what do u suggest to use instead... stuff I can find around...
