Hügelkultur Raised Beds

Some sort of fencing on the inside...?

Kind of, or they could be on the outside too. Or the posts could be on the outside and the trellis on the inside, though it’s all hypothetical until hubby actually starts building the beds.

I'm thinking of reinforcing with concrete "cinder" blocks. Anyone have experience with those?

Note: we have a lot of ants here. They've tried to take over my beds a few times.

Had a few zucchini left out of this bed so I took a pic of the last few out of this bed…

They did really well for my first Hugelkultur raised bed. Everything did well, peppers are still producing like mad too.

Been a bumper crop season for the peppers and they just keep spitting them out.

Everything in the raised beds have done well and am very pleased with everything. My back likes it too.
