My dogs dream, why not my birds?

I will say that my hens and my retarded rooster likely dream in their sleep too. My rooster dreams of running away from me. I catch him every chance I get and play with his waddle and comb.
My hens probably dream of chicken scratches and cornfeed.
As for a funny story, one night while the little hens were in their brooder bumping into the walls and chirping, a barred rock jumped out and hopped up on the couch and settled in with me to watch TV. All was well until her little head sagged to one side. She woke with a start, jumped to her feet, squatted down and pewpoo-ed on me. She took a few steps to the side and looked back at it like, "wow, I almost slept through that!" She started to nestle herself down again but I was so hoppin mad I put her back in with the other chicks and put the mesh back on top so she couldn't hop out again.
It was probably the same hen that later pecked my eye too.

I REALLY want to see a picture of the little baby sleeping on her back! I bet that is one for a calendar somewhere! I love that they have their own little personalities. I think mine dream of watermelon.
