Ha! Ha! I found it.

I have been staying in because of the bitter cold and my son has been
taking care of the chickens for me. I decided to try going to the coop
this morning and discovered a hidden nest with 17 frozen eggs in it
some were even cracked open. I wondered why the egg count has been
down some lately.

I store a bale of straw and a bag of pine chips on top of the nest boxes.
We put a slanted piece of plywood over them like a roof to keep the chickens off of them.
Well they had squeased in under the plywood and layed on the top of the straw.
Never had bothered going in there before.

My son asked me is that someplace I should have been looking and I just
laughed and told him no but chickens are very sneaky.

Guess the chickens will have a nice scrambled egg breakfast in the morning.

I found a nest with 16 and a chicken I didnt know was here when I moved onto the farm.
