Some would like me to hatch eggs for them about 500 or so from their own eggs
    what would you charge?

i am thinking .15 to .20 per chick ? help!!!

i have a incubator that holds around 250 or so?
And i live in upstate NY in case any one wants to know

I personally split hatches because I sell chicks locally. If he wants the chicks hatched to sell, I would ask how much he sells them for and ask for a third or fourth of what he will get. Sure, you just have to put them in the incubator and turn them over to him afterwards, but you are using your electricity to run it, and he will be taking up space you could be using. I guess it depends on how good of friends you are, and how much you value your incubator space and electricity.
