Once, when not paying attention, i put my pen back in my coffee cup instead of my pen holder. Didn't notice till i went for another drink.

That reminds me of a story I heard about kids and lip balm. A lady had tubes of lip balm all over so she would have one handy. She couldn't find one handy but knew she had seen one in the bathroom. As she went it to get it she notices that her 3 year old has the tube of lip balm and is applying it to the cats' bottom. After she quits gagging she asks him what he is doing. Her darling son says "it looks chapped" Needless to say she now has one tube that she keeps in her pocket.

I can't top the chapped kitty rear story---but I do keep a "Special" tube of unscented, unmedicated chapstick in the diaper bag for irritated runny noses. It is marked heavily with a Sharpie....

ETA: there is also the sunblock stick, but it smells like sunblock.
