had a scare this morning

Tonto(my LGD) wanted out this morning about 5 am as usual...so i let him out and he started barking....look out and theres a fox running up the road.
Tonto continued his alarm and the fox went around the corner of the road towards the back of our house where we keep the chickens.
Tonto followed him,the fox didnt enter the yard. thank goodness for Tonto, as i would hate to think what could have happened if we didnt have him!
