Had a "surprise exotic chick" sent *updated pic*

Thanks for everyones input. As I am new to chickens I didn't even know EEs came bearded. After looking up pictures of them, it does look very likely that he/she could be a bearded EE. But I guess time will tell for sure.
In any case still my favorite!

HaHa i kno right? and ALL striped chicks are EEs, bc they look "exactly" like everyone elses lol. I feel like everyone is obsessed with EEs! They are just mutts.

I agree that there's far too many "EE" guesses on some of the other chicks/chickens on this board, but this clean-legged, 3 toed chick does have muffs/beards and there aren't many striped chicks with muffs (I personally can't think of any). Also, EE's are sometimes sent out by the hatcherys as 'exotic' chicks - another clue.

It looks to me like the EE guesses are good guesses and I agree that this chick is probably an EE.

Normally I would agree with ya'll, but in this case I really do think this one is a hatchery Ameraucana. They are considered "exotic" because they lay colored eggs, even though they are common.

Well is sure looks like our "exotic" chick turned out to be a beautiful EE.

Poofy our "exotic" EE at 12 1/2 weeks of age.
