Had my dates wrong - OOPS :-)

I forgot to note the date I put my quail eggs in my Sportsman incubator so I was a week off...I have peacock eggs in there that I'm hatching for someone else so along with the yardwork, etc, my brain was elsewhere.

I went down the basement to take the peacock eggs off the turner and heard peeping - LOTS of peeping. The quail eggs hatched and the chicks tumbled right into the hatching box! All are just fine but it just goes to show you - the less you mess with the eggs, the better the hatch! I never even raised the humidity so they hatched out at roughly 44%.

Almost every egg has hatched (still hatching now) which makes this my best quail hatch ever - imagine my surprise!!

It always seems that way, if you don't pay any attention to them, they hatch out just right, if you fret over them, they'll give you grief!

I didn't bother to take any. I've hatched out hundreds; seen one/seen 'em all LOL!

lol just becuase your blessed to see tons of cute little fuzzy bottoms dosnt mean we all are , I would personally love ot see a big cabnet battor full of hatched quail

This time it was only 15. I've been selling so many eggs that I didn't have very many to set for myself!
