Came home tonight went out to check the girls and they were going nuts in the coop opened the door and they were all backed up in the corner. It smelled funky in there . So I went to close the poop door and there was a giant possum on the ramp.but he was stuck in the run .chickens are fine but not Mr possum . Sorry but I don't need those kinda problems . Did I do the right thing ?????

Yes, you did very well! This morning, I was heading to the dump and out at the end of my drive, there was a dead coon and a dead oppossum!! My first thought was "two less things to worry about.." I know they have too eat, but not at my coop... LOL

defiantly did the right thing, we don't have opossums here but we do have foxes. LOTS and LOTS of foxes. I shoot them and set my dog after them. It hardly makes a dent in the population but makes me feel better. One less around the chicken shed
