That was deffinitely a tough decision. But you were wise & generous, thinking of the zoo! You are helping with the circle of life, donating the young cockerels for feeders. Your hens will be more relaxed, having less dudes pestering them.

If this was the hardest thing you have ever had to do and you have raised 3 sons,and numerous pets, I'd say you have lived a very blest life.
The hungry creatures of the zoo thank you. They too have to eat.
