I started out this week pretty bummed out because the incubator I saved up for arrived, and the eBay seller lied-- it wasn't brand new, and it wasn't in good condition either. I then put in all the work to get it working, cleaned it and put new parts in, and opened a dispute with eBay because it still doesn't work... and the only option is to just send it back and get a refund, but no reimbursing for the parts or labor! I have been so upset about this. And then the Alchemist Farms giveaway announced the winners today, and my name was on there! I will be receiving a dozen hatching eggs from their rare breed chickens, and I'm so excited I might have cried a little. Now I've gotta get this stupid incubator sent back ASAP so I can find a better option and do a test run before the Alchemist eggs get here. After a rough winter, this was a really welcome lucky moment. I can't wait to spoil these chicks absolutely rotten!
