Here is a picture of my pilgrim male, my Niki, floating in our flooded pond.
Handsome looking chap!
We sure had some SERIOUS storms roll through yesterday in TN! There was flooding and tornado reports everywhere. My geese sure didn't seem to mind!
Poor guy! He's probably wishing for dry ground, I know my geese rarely stay on the pond, only going in the water for short periods before wandering back off in search of fresh greens
sweet! Happy looking goose, and pretty too
Quote:You're telling ME!! I thought we were going to have to start dismantling chicken coops, duck and goose houses to start building an ark! At least today we have some sunshine to dry up some of the ground. There was even a 2 hour delay for the schools this morning!
Lots of flooding all over the place!
We had instant ponds popping up all over my property. My geese and ducks loved it. The chickens and guineas...not so much. LOL
Quote:My geese loved it, they were right out there in the pouring rain, thunder and lightening.
so cute! He doesn't know what to think of it all! Thanks for sharing.
Quote:They were loving it becasue their pond is usually a plastic kiddy pool. But he had land to go to if he wanted to, the flooded pond was at the bottom of the hill.
He looks like he's saying "what're YOU lookin at?"
