had to tarp most of the run today

Wow, that's nuts. Good luck to all of you getting that deluge!

And Obxwami: It may be time to rename that rescue chicken!

I live in Greensboro, NC. Yesterday my poor girls looked like drowned rats when I got home from work, but they did not think about going into the nice dry coop. I rounded them up and locked them in their coop. They looked much better this morning. Their run is now a big muddy mess, and it's still raining. Yuk.

wow thats impressive.. i invite you all to come to my hill top home with a whole house generator just for days like that.. i really do wish you all well and hope it doesn't cause you damage to your homes..

Our Pacific NW rain is starting to look pretty puny. I have a wooden step in a hole under the gate to the ducks pen which floated away in our last 'heavy' rain and several of the ducks 'swam' out under the gate and were roaming the yard when I got up. But at least the YARD wasn't under water.

we lost power last night at 70pm. they hope to have it back on by 5pm.

this is a pic of a friends house looking out into the bay. except today there is a barge washed ashore.
