had to tarp most of the run today

poor girls weren't very happy about getting all wet. it has a roof but with all the leaves and what not on the roof every little hole was leaking and the rain has been coming sideways. i covered the top and 2 sides.

I'm glad I live in the desert, but the snow sucks, and we are having a storm move in tonight! I set plywood over the run so the birds won't wake up to the shock of their first snow..

a friends back yard in poquoson. 15 minutes away from us

Oh my, sounds bad- the remains of Tropical Storm Ida? We usually get your weather eventually.
I hope you will all be okay, I know there is flooding in many places there.
Good idea to tarp. We've been through Hurricane Juan, a huge snow storm called 'White Juan', Tropical Storm Noel and several other blizzards and I know how worrysome it can be. Stock up on clean water for the duration, just in case. Eventually we invested in a generator, what a godsend.

I'll be thinking of you...
