The box had not been opened and the eggs were in perfect condition.
There's no reason they wouldn't hatch, the oldest egg in the box was layed the 16th.

Customer said "I was just going by what the PO told me".

I don't know --- another of life's little mysteries, I guess.

See, that's hy I don't ship chicks. The thought of them getting lost makes me shudder. I was just notified by someone I shipped eggs to that the tracking says thy were delivered,but he hasn't seen them. Now where are those eggs? How could someone enter that they had been delivred,but there is no sign of them? Crazy!!

Well, I finally got to the bottom of it.
I ended up calling and speaking with the post mistress at that PO

2/19 Package mailed.

2/23 Customer was unavailable to accept package when delivery was attempted.

2/25 Customer told Post Mistress to 'throw away the box because the eggs were probably ruined'.

2/25 Post Mistress returned package to sender (me).

2/27 Package was delivered back here.
