By the way, I have 2 Gold-Laced Wyandottes, 1 Black Rock, or Miss Pepperpot (hybrid Rhode + Plym.Rock + Maran), who is a bossy old hen! Her name is Pippin.
And I have a rather handicapped cockral, named Hester. At first, when we got him, he was 7 weeks old, and we thought he was hen! So it was rather a shock to hear him crow one morning. I'm not sure what hybrid he is, but he looks like a small Brahma.
