first question: does anyone know what hair product or any secrets to get naturally fine hair thick?

I have found that alternating shampoos helps a lot. If I use the same shampoo for a month my hair is just revitalized when I use a different shampoo. It fluffs up more and makes a huge difference.

Oh and Tree Hut Shea Butters are the best creams to put on your hands and feet!!!! My favorite "flavor" of Tree Hut is the Almond and Honey one

As far as hair products, my favorites are Dove Shampoos and conditioners (and soap!), and Tresemme shampoos and conditioners. Oh and if you have a Grocery Outlet near you they have a lot of deeply discounted lotions and shampoos! These are my tips!

I've used Castor oil in the past to make my hair appear thicker.

The best thing to use for skin, nails, and hair is a good balanced diet with lot's of water. Vitamins E and A, carrots, beets, dark leafy greens. It'll fix you from the inside out, because the skin is the last place nutrients go. Organs get it first. If you don't eat enough of the good stuff, not much makes it to the outside. It's the only way to get that glow of health. Keep in mind it can take 6 months to really see an improvement to hair and nails. But only 2 weeks for the skin if you really keep away from processed and fast foods.

Skin is really absorbent. You put lotion on, where does it go? Now read the label. What exactly just got sucked into your skin? I've started using natural products, as in food items. Raw, unfiltered organic honey as a scrub and skin mask. Try it only just shaved legs! I'll also use Safflower oil or Coconut butter/oil on legs and elbows. The honey also acts as a toner for the face, evens things out if you do a mask for 30 minutes every 3 days or so. Tightens those pores right up, without feeling itchy.

Some of the beauty products out there, like lotions, can be more drying than anything, causing you to use more. If your skin feels nice right after, you'll buy it again. That's all they care about, how much of it you buy. If it has alcohol in it, it's not doing you any favors.

The best hair product I've found is "It's a 10 miracle leave in". I saw an immediate change in elasticity and over all health. Acts as a heat shield for styling tools as well.

Best moisturizer is a water based one from Clinique, not greasy and it lasts all day. I have to be careful with moisturizers because I have oily skin in places. With continued use I'm seeing good results! Not bad for $27 a bottle. Lasts awhile too, you only use a tiny bit.

Sadly hair thickeners only swell the cuticle (outer layer) to give the illusion of thicker hair. Nothing makes it genuinely thicker. Then they add silicone or something similar to fill the cuticle, so that you don't lose shine. Most cheap products for dry, damaged, or course hair are silicone based. Glossing over the issue, instead of fixing it. To actually fix it requires moisture, and a good balanced Ph. Water type can play a role as well.

Clothes... fit over brand, always. $100 jeans can create muffin top easy enough. You have to go with what flatters you, and get it in the right size. I have such a range in sizes in the closet, because different brands have a different fit. Don't worry about the number on the tag... if it fits, it fits. I always take 4 sizes of the same pants to the fitting room. Sometimes it's not the size, it's the cut, and you have to choose a different style. It just depends. But definitely use those fitting rooms! The only thing I don't try on is regular shirts. But any shirt with some style to it, or layers, or bright patterns/colors... I try on the M, L, and XL to get the right fit from it. Depending on the cut, it can be any of those 3 sizes.

Had to teach my husband about fit. LOL He was like "I'm a 34-34". No you're not, depending on brand, you're a 32-34, 34-34, 36-34, and sometimes a 36-32 or 38-34. He'd go to the fitting room with one pair of jeans, and I'd follow behind him with 5 more pair in various sizes. He'd leave empty handed if nothing the store carried in a 34-34 fit. Try other sizes!
