How do you guys make sure that people don't cheat?

I can take a photo of the pink food coloring stain on my bar top if needed..

How do you guys make sure that people don't cheat? I've always been curious! Do you do reverse image searches?

In my almost 4 years here, I've only seen a couple of times where it appeared someone tried to submit work for a contest that wasn't theirs. They were called on it by other members (who are a pretty sharp bunch).

That's not much when you look at all the contests and people that submit entries. It would be a time-munching nightmare for someone to have to do a search on every entry to verify it was original.

DH gave me heck over it until I said ahhhh.. It's alright to make the house smell like a machine shop for 3 days!
