Half a Baby asprin for limping chickens??

She and the other limping one are laying under a bush now, sleeping kinda. I'll try and get a picture of the other ones feet soon. If she has broken somehow what do I do? Or how do I tell?

I've had one of my hens break a foot, and she kept off it for a while and it healed fine, but it looked a little irregular. If the hen will let you, feel around her unharmed foot, then the swollen one. Is there any difference besides the swelling?

400

The other one stood up a little and this was the best I could get

I'll have to wait a few hours to check her feet, she won't let me so I need someone to hold her while I check. As soon as I can though I will. Everyone's at work right now, that's why I have to wait

I went out to give them some Cantaloupe and the two are still limping but not as bad! I'll be able to check for anything broken soon

Nothing seems to be broken..my sister said yesterday that she heard them squawking loudly and they had ruffled feathers. Is it possible they got in a fight?

Anything is possible. you can give them two or three baby aspirin per day in a treat of something...spaced out of course...and it won't hurt them. and might help. But limping can be a sign of Marek's starting for sure, so do keep an eye on them.

I definitely will keep an eye on them. I don't wanna lose my girls, I lost two earlier this summer due to heat stroke I think, so I don't wanna lose more. Thanks for answering my question, I'll keep updating on their condition

Does it have to be a non flavor one, i'll go out and buy some if so but all I have at the moment is the orange flavor.
