half developed chic..

Hi,
i incubate some eggs in homemade incubator.i candel all the egg they all are fertile but after 6 or 7 days when i candel the eggs i found 4 or 5 died half developed chicks.and some chicks died before hatching and just one hatch.plz tell me what heppened to them...

I am not an expert but what I have read was that low temperature at the early stage of incubation can cause slow growth or sometimes disability . And with regards to the other chicks which died before hatching it could be due to humidity loss , as the Internet membrane shrinks around baby chick and cause death.
