Back again with more birds from our Murray McMurray hatchery assortments!

I've numbered the photos, and will be listing my guesses or questions for each one.

1) White (?) cochin - leaning towards pullet
2) Dark Brahma? Thought initially roo since I assumed it came in the All Heavy mix, but now the light comb is throwing me.
3) Light Brahma? Same as #2 - I would expect a redder comb at 9 weeks, but I know brahma are tricky. I've included a photo of all 4 presumed brahmas for comparison.
4) I have no idea! With the yellow legs I would have said Black Rock, but that isn't on the hatchery's listed breeds.
5) another "I'm not sure" but isn't he pretty?

Dang, let's try that again! I must have navigated away before everything uploaded.

Murray only lists Buff, White, Silver Laced, Black, Blue, and Partridge cochins in their breed list - no Splash to be seen.

4,5, and 2 of the Brahmas in the third picture are cockerels. 4, I'm not positive. I want to say a Leghorn? 5 is an Egyptian Fayoumi.
Wild on the Fayoumi! I had thought that initially and then second guessed myself. The assortment really is a grab bag!

Thanks!
Splash is a variation of blue. The blue gene is funny and does not breed true. If you breed 2 blues together, you will get 50% blue offspring, with 25% being black and another 25% being splash.

Huh! Now that I go specifically read the description for the blue cochins, it absolutely says that about the 50% blue vs the others. Chicken genetics are fascinating!

Splash is listed directly in the blue’s description straight from their website. This bird is definitely splash

This is the only Brahma pullet. The dark and other two lights are cockerels. Your black cockerel chick is really bizarre. Does he have brown?? Can you get some better pictures? He’s a poor example of a breed or just a hatchery-mix like a Whiting True Blue. What assortment? Your final cockerel is a Fayoumi
