Half-laid eggs?

    I wish I'd seen this myself, but I really trust the person who told me about it.

    My chickens don't like the next boxes I have for them, I think. I need to give them bigger ones. They always lay in them, though.

    But he said he watched on chicken set on a box, and get up. He said the egg was partway out, and then it went back up inside the pullet, and she switched boxes, and finally laid it in another box.

    I didn't know they had that kind of control! Sounds weird to me. I gotta build some bigger boxes, poor girls! (Especially before the BA's start to lay, they are HUGE!)

    Sounds like having a baby and having it's head "crown" and then continuing to wait on the delivery! I wouldn't know for sure but my bet is that what your friend saw is perfectly normal [​IMG]
