Half of my eggs are clear, what does that mean? (Pictures added!)

Vertically speaking, when I candle the egg the air cell is normal at the top. One side of the egg has good veins and a little swimmy chick. The other side of the egg is totally clear. Both of the eggs are like this. What does that mean?

These eggs were under a broody for a couple days but she wasn't doing a good job and most of the eggs got broken. I salvaged these two. I don't even know what day they are on, but they're alive!

I am new to this, but from what I have observed with my own eggs, these are likely normal. Maybe 8 to 14 days? As the chick grows, it will occupy more space. Candle in another 5 or 6 days to see if the chick has grown to occupy more of the space. Congrats on your possible save!

If theirs veins and a chickie moving your on day ohhh 5-10ish. I agree with last poster-wait a week and candle again and see how they've grown-and your going to have to wing day 18-21 with turning if you dont have a turner. Once you see most egg taken up by space -dark space ( big chickie) your near the end and stop turning and crank up humidity. keep us posted on the outcome-I wish you luck. I screwed up my second hatch so bad with spikes-humidty-etc.. I mean bad!! I still got 50% hatch rate 26 babies! 3 polish-which are the ones you helped sex the other day! yeah..Wish you luck

This will be the third hatch I've done, but they are the first bantam eggs. Maybe that's what's different? They are really easy to see through. With my other hatches, the veins are near the top and go all the way around the egg in a circle. The veining and the chick gradually fill in over the 21 days down to the pointed end of the egg. These eggs are the opposite...the veins go from top to bottom, but only fill up half the egg circularly. It's odd. Maybe I am worrying over nothing.

I just took pictures for you. These are pure bantam eggs, but I don't know what kind of bantams. Sebrights are one possibility, and the guy had one other kind. He had them all separated by breed and color. I am so thrilled to see what might hatch out of these, if they make it.

Egg #2

The side of #2...see what I mean about half being clear? But both are eggs are moving, they aren't rotten or something.

What day do you think they are on? I first candled them two or three days ago, and they were moving then.

You all were right, they have almost totally filled in now. It's amazing how fast they have grown since I took those pictures!

Not to mess up the betting, but I just checked the calendar and I put the eggs under the broody on the night of June 28...however, she was a very crappy broody and she wasn't even fully sitting on them half the time. She was sitting next to them. Then after 4 or 5 days those were the only two eggs not broken, so I took them out and set them on the desk for half a day while the incubator regulated...I am shocked they are still developing nicely! I'm not sure what day they started developing on...if they started right away under teh broody despite her sitting next to them and not on them in the nest box, then they would be around day 11.
