Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. You really have a huge flock. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. What kind of chickens do your have?

Welcome to Backyard chickens, do you raise them for eggs, meat or both? 300 chickens sounds like a lot of work for two people.
We raise some for meat and the rest just for loving. 300 chickens may seem like a lot but we raise our chickens free range and naturally so there isn't much to do, really!

If you live where predators are a major issue, then free ranging is a really nice way to go. Easter Eggers are my granddaughter's (pictured in my avatar) favorite chickens. She loves their colored eggs.
