Hardware will be replaced. It's fairly tired and has some issues that needed addressed.

Very intriguing. I'm really not a fan of painting wood. I will consider a stain of all different colors but absolutely love the look of nicely finished wood. Wife wants it gray to match the cribs so she wins. At this point she wants it solid gray but I'm planning to add some color and hope she likes it. I need to do some research on pinterest about this chalk paint stuff. All I can think of is a school chalkboard and chalk dust. Wife has tried to convince me that its not like that. I typically handle these types of projects so I have stood firm on it so far.
