Lovely chicks!!

Quote: That is awesome!!!
And I like the way it worked out for you too because I agree...it's great to see how your grown up chicks are doing.![]()
Quote: I "think" the quail mature to about the size of a chick? At least that's what I read last night.![]()
So I don't think we'll be eating them. Even if they were bigger, I don't think I want to eat them.
Tiny itsy bitsy fancy fried eggs??? Or boiled? Wouldn't those be cute??

I had to look this up. I learn something new EVERY day. I guess people do eat these teeny, tiny eggs. Wowsers.
I think my Old English Game bantam eggs are too small to cook...lol.
But they looked really nice in the dog's dish so I might do the odd thing with them.
I could see cooking tiny quail eggs for a fancy occasion because they'd look really cool.
I'm not sure I'd want to do it often though.![]()
They're supposed to be really good for you.
But first I have to successfully hatch some first. Hubby thought we should make a small omelet out of the hatching eggs this morning...lol.![]()

Nice avy Wicked!
Good morning Mike!!!![]()
Thank you! Halloween is my favorite day of the year!!!![]()
I've been waiting and waiting and waiting for Oct. 1 to put that avy up!!![]()
I already bought fake hard plastic rats and spiders and put them out already.
The chickens like my foam headstones WAY to much.![]()

Hello, sounds like you are getting ready for Halloween, did the chickens destroy the headstones?
Thanks for that info on quail, Mike.![]()
I will have to look into it more too
Yes the chickens did destroy my headstones!![]()
![]()
I had them up along the house too.
This is the only one that was "kind of" salvageable.![]()
The others were in pieces.
On a good note, no chickens got sick. I was worried.
They did that last year while we were combining.
