i pulled a stinky egg this morning
now i have 10 frizzles set and i still have 18 calls
i think most of the calls are duds, and i cant see into many of the frizzles

14 days in...all my eggs are duds... I was really just checking to see if I have any fertile yet, not too worried..... I didn't need to hatch anymore right now anyway! LOL

Had FFA Forestry competition for middle DS. Went well for the most part. Glad it is over so we can focus on livestock now, which he is totally psyched about!

 

I have to ask what is involved in a forestry competition.... I am intrigued

I am still learning because this is our first year. But, from my understanding is there is a lot of science involve. Identifying various plants, bugs, tools, and proper use of those tools, compass and map skills, and more.

No, they are from my hens. I wanted to see if the roosters were doing their job yet - they are just now at 16 weeks but have been trying to mate the hens for about 4 weeks now, so just wanted to see....

Unlike my last hatch where I bought shipped eggs and only hatched out 2 ... ROOSTERS.
