Unlike my last hatch where I bought shipped eggs and only hatched out 2 ... ROOSTERS.

They are really starting to turn out nice. One is an Olive Egger (I really really wanted hens for the eggs though ) and the other is a Lavender Orpington. He is beautiful and just now finally getting his tail feathers in. He is super clumsy though and very entertaining to watch. (these pics are a few weeks old, I need to get new ones of them but they tend to run away and not let me get a front view LOL)

I held out hope for a LONG time, but there is no denying. They are both roos... so far they get to stay as they are pretty nice, and haven't shown any aggression towards me or my daughter.

That's awesome. I haven't had a mean rooster yet. (knock on wood) but I'd put it out of my misery if I had one.

I had two awful ones, they were beautiful and great protectors of the flock, but would turn on me in a second. I could turn to walk away and they would attack me from behind. Crazy roosters. Here they are (Dom in front and the RIR in back).

i pulled a stinky egg this morning
now i have 10 frizzles set and i still have 18 calls
i think most of the calls are duds, and i cant see into many of the frizzles

stinky eggie gross!!!

14 days in...all my eggs are duds... I was really just checking to see if I have any fertile yet, not too worried..... I didn't need to hatch anymore right now anyway! LOL
