I've broken so many rules here for a just to see on my part it will be something if they do. The two blood rings were over two weeks old and there's more eggs up to two weeks old.

So if this happens to a flock and one decides to cull them, can the chickens still be eaten? Or have to be disposed of or burned?
Just curious.

Not sure if you mean sick birds or not but I'll take it that your asking about sick birds. If I have to cull a sick bird I dispose of it.

Ours are as well. I had to laugh because the majority of our flock we got this year to start our self sustaining flock. We ordered pullets and a couple cockerels. Including Mo (our existing rooster) we ended up with 8. No problem, they are meat birds. But when it came time to cull the roos... lol Well, we ended up finding homes for them. Of course we kept the best ones. I am not sure if Duke just did not want to find the time, or if he felt bad. But they all went on to have happy rooster lives with their own flocks. :-D

Six of mine are now in Camp Fridge. Done for the day except feeding and collecting eggs.

I candled again this morning (day 14). I've been using the dry hatch method and have been maintaining humidity between 30-40% up until now. Before today the air cells were not very obvious, even with a candling flashlight, but today I can see clearly most are irregular shaped, very large air cells (they were shipped). Too large for day 14 in my opinion, they are probably the size I wanted them to be for lockdown

Now humidity is running in the 40s, with plans to gradually increase. I'm down to 6 out of 18 set, or 6 out of 9 that developed.
Any tips/words of wisdom on how to proceed?

Yay. Came home to a freshly hatched Hona baby. Its still half way wet and awkward on its feet. Its peeping though so thats good. I have another of the 10 eggs peep a hole. Hoping for several overnight, so i can open and take the babies out to thw brooder, so they aren't in incubator too long.

Congrats! You can leave the babies in the incubator for a day or two (three days max).
