Halloween Spirit: Ghost Stories!

There was a girl, she was going to the hospital to visit her injured dad. on the door, there was a paper that was taped on, it said in blood red paint; BE CARFUL ON YOUR 4TH...

she ignored it. she went inside and saw many nurses and doctors. she went to the elevator and went to floor 4, she went to room 4 in floor 4 to see her dad, the room was covored in blood. the girl went to sleep on the bed, ignoring the blood and thinking that her dad was okay. she slept. she woke up and felt tired, so she slept again, and woke up again. she slept again, and woke up, VERY tired. and as she slept for the 4th time... she woke up, and by the next second, a knife floated above her, and the knife fell.

I have always been into ghost stories and the macabre in general but I had never seen or heard anything. When I was bout 28 I lived in an apartment in one of the southers suburbs of Seattle. My SO was a sherriff and I worked in dispatch. Neither one of us is prone to "seeing things". Well in this apartment sometimes you'd see or sometimes "feel" something flit just outside of your range of vision. Now it was never scary and I had never mentioned it to my SO and I was never scared to spend the night there alone which I did quite a lot seeing as he was a sheriff and worked lots of odd hours and so did I. We had no kids. Well one night we were in bed talking, it was just regualr pillow talk about how the day went and so on. Well at some point he got very quiet and so did I. I got quiet because I "felt" that there was someone else in the room and that that person was either beside the bed or looming above us, standing beside the bed. Then I felt my SO's heart start to really pound and he was very still. After a minute or so the feeling faded and we still didn't talk. Then he said "Whew, I must be loosing it because I swear I could feel someone standing over us just now." I started to laugh becuase I was so scared and nervous and I had felt it too. After that that "flitting" feeling got a bit stronger and we moved out almost right away.

My current husband reports that he had that same banging the OP talked about in an apartment he rented once. He also said that sometimes when you came home, you got the feeling like when someone's just left a room or a convesation stopped because you walked in. He also claims that once he was laying in bed and he felt the bed move like someone had sat on the side. UNBELIVEABLY he cliams he was never scared and that he didn't move becaus of that. I think he's nuts and I would have been SO outta there!

I've never had any experiences...but my mom who is from the Philipines has. She lived in a rural part of the Philipines and has told me stores about witches, giant birds, walking dead, and other things that happened to her during her 20 years of living there. I believe it, cause my mom is not a lier and you can see the fear in her eyes when she tells the stories.

I also love the paranormal shows, Ghost adventures, Ghost hunters, and GHI are my favorite ghost shows. Especially Ghost adventures, because they find 5x as more stuff than the other shows.

This isnt really a ghost story, but it is a story that my neighbors and I made up...

My neighbors are some of our best friends, one in sixth grade and one in first. We made up this story three years ago, sitting around a campfire down by the river...

Here goes...

In the Juniata river, lives a monstorous beast, very big and scary... It was like the Loch Ness monster, but it was bigger, with glowing red eyes and a spikey back. It was black and ate people playing in the river after dark. It would come up out of the water once in a while in the middle of the night. (At this point, we were all huddled up and staring at the person talking... We took turns making up parts of the story as we went along) The monster was huge and only came out at night, so it was no longer safe out here. When it ate you, you had barely enough time to scream before it grabbed you, in a whirlpool like swooooosh. (We started running around, pretending that it was chasing us) "Lets see if we can catch it!" we agreed to use one of the fishing rods to try and catch the "Juniata Monster". We caught a piece of chicken wire and started shrieking, running around, pretending that we caught it. We pretended that the monster was trying to eat us.
