Fair enough, I would personally take my chances with Freddy and co as
1. They can't phase through walls
2. Their ai tends to have rules it follows. Doesn't make things easy nor does it mean they 100% predictable but they're more predictable and less intelligent than a ghost

Depends on the outside temps. Rain if it's over 60°, snow otherwise
12. Would you rather watch a Halloween special of a show you like or play a scary game? We used to play a game when we were younger called Nightmare. It was a board game with a vhs that controlled the time and had a "gatekeeper" that would pop up on the screen and say certain things. It was really fun

Black room, at least it's escapable
