That is cute, clever, and your wife will love it as much as we do. When you mentioned the word "Shasta" it sounded very familiar to me. Our family camped a lot when I was growing up. We went from an heavy, heavy umbrella-type canvas tent to a Volkswagon van my dad outfitted for camping, to a pull behind trailer - which may have just been a Shasta! My sisters and I rode in it all over the state of Texas playing cards, coloring, etc. while my parents rode in the car. Shhhhh....don't tell anyone! LOL!

It looks cool but I would be worried about the ventilation as I do not see any. Chicken poop can create a build up of ammonia in a coop that does not have enough ventilation which can cause respitory issues in the chickens.
