Hamburg and Brahma mix?

So, we have 2 light Brahma hens (Stella and Betty Clucker) and 1 Silver Speckled Hamburg rooster (Rocky). All are around 4 months old. Rocky, pictured, just started crowing.
Any chance he will successfully fertilize an egg with one of our hens? They are much larger than he is. We had a Hamburg hen, but she sadly was killed by a Hawk. Our son is hoping he can get a chick or two to raise.

Were they all raised together? As long as your hens are willing, he will get the job done. Sorry for your loss. I have a 9 week old silver spangled Hamburg cockerel. Mine has the rose comb. He was the mystery chick from Mcmurray’s hatchery so I’m excited to see how he’s going to look.

They were raised together and are inseparable. We only have the three chickens. Rocky, our rooster (whom we were old was a girl when we got her) just started crowing yesterday. He is quite impressed with himself.
