Hamburgs in Black/White

Does anyone breed or know of anyone who breeds Hamburgs in black or white? I have looked extensively online and have had no luck.

Hamburgs don't come in black or white, but if you like these colors you may want to check the Black Rosecomb bantam line.



Or Rosecomb Leghorns, they come in white too.

Maybe the best way to go about it is to breed them yourself? Using Black or white based birds and breeding back to Hamburgs

Keller Farms (Garrett Keller) in Porterville CA has LF black Hamburgs. That's the only breeder I could find of either variety.

North American Hamburg Society is on Facebook, I just was directed there. Hamburgs have definitely diminished in numbers, but Black and White still exist, at least in Large Fowl.
