Hand quilting 'eye candy'

    Just wanted to show off something I've had in our club frames since February. Mom rescued the embroidery blocks from a thrift store (circa 1970 according to the pattern instructions actually still with them with all the floss numbers), I finished them, manhandled them into a quilt and here we are! Still have a bit more to do like fixing little things here and there and binding but, it's mostly done. My very first hand quilted quit with this club.

    Oooh, I love to make Attic Windows blocks. I have one planned with that pattern again. Very nice.

    This is the first time I've used attic windows actually, these panels though, they had to have them.

    Beautiful! What a wonderful quilt!!

    Oh, that blue tote/purse is awesome, too!
    On the close up,you can see that it is too darling!

    I wish I could quilt. Too bad the only needle skill I have is making myself bleed.
