Yes, unfortunately antibacterial soap does kill the good bugs as well as the bad bugs.
...but even if the hand santizier destroyed the "bloom" and replaced it with a antibacterial coating that protected it by killing any bad bugs wanting to infect the egg during incubation, would this work?
