Hand turning?????

So I'll be setting eggs tomorrow. Call x pekin that I'll have to hand turn. Anybody have some advice on how often and until what day? Both mom and dad are call x pekin. So some hatching differential..

The recommendation is at least 3xs a day, but more being better. It is also recommended to turn an odd number of times a day to prevent the eggs from laying on the same side each night during the longest time of not being turned. Most people stop turning at lockdown.

3x every 12 hours or every 24??

3xs between morning and when you stop for the night. (Unless of course you want to turn during the night.)

I'm afraid if I let her turn the eggs, she'll want her own duckling too! Very mommy ish. She cried for weeks when the babies got to go live outside!!!

Oh that's why she ate the the turner! Out of jealousy....

that is a sweet and priceless dog for sure.
