Hi folks -
A newbie question:
I picked up a dozen hatching eggs yesterday for my broody - it was about a 2.5-hour drive back including stops for gas and food, eggs fat side up, in a carton nested on bubble wrap in a box. temps during the drive seemed to be pretty moderate. I DID NOT let the eggs sit for much time - about an hour - before I put them under the broody. I understand this is necessary for shipped eggs - not sure about gently driven eggs, what the road vibrations can do. Do people think I made a mistake? I did not candle...I usually research like crazy but just kind of jumped on this after she got broody again this year....
Thanks!!
