Just a thought for the future, sandwich bags make a good but a little clumbsy glove.

Make a baking soda paste for your hands. It neutralizes the acid. Perhaps made with milk and egg whites to incorporate the other remedies you got here?
My husband didn't wear gloves one time, and thank goodness for baking soda!

I had the same problem when I made salsa this year for the first time! Now I use the chopper/ blender! The peppers did help like the capsasion for my arthritis! But burnt my eyes!

Soak your hands in vinegar. It will neutralize it. Then soak your hands in milk to sooth the damage already done.
