I let my girls hatch..I a have an egg that has a beak showing for last 24 hours about. It has made no progress and beak is back in. Hole doesn't look dried up..but I'm unsure what to do when to do if I do and exactly how!! I really have no issue trying g to help since it's looking bleak anyway..also another has cracked but no pip?? And a third has no signs at all. Third well be removed in morning just to be sure. Mom's still turning eggs and I'm afraid that's why lil beak disappeared. Is it worth trying to help either of the two?

I am adding a pic she graciously allowed me to take while she stood up. BTW we have ten healthy beautiful ducklings already, I just hate give up if there is a chance. Two that hatched didn't make it yesterday already..just weak I think.. IMG_20170728_201056192.jpg

The egg in front with that big long crack looks like a very bad egg! Remove that one... did you candle the eggs at all?

I did not candle haven't had much luck with it when I attempted last week. I'll remove it asap. The one that has no signs is colder then it should be I'm afraid but she is still talking and turning..any advice on that one. Maybe a late hatcher?? And should I let nature takes it course with one that pipped? I'm sorry to ask so much I'm trying learn as best I can. I've read and prepared this is our second hatch only. I thought I was prepared as could be!! Learning curve I guess

Be careful with the cracked one, it looks like an exploder... if it stinks awful bad, slide it into a baggie right from under her...

I would leave the pipped one and let her do her thing... the cool one, I would candle and check for life signs... if none, then dispose of it...
