Now that is starting to look more like mine did once the yolk was absorbed and it started drying up. I think if he is active and moving around, he has a good chance. I'd be hopefull at this point.

I keep peeking in on him every few mins. . He (they're all 'he's until I know they're gonna make it) but he seems to be doing very good with everything considered.. he'll probably get to stay in the brooder in my bedroom longer than anyone else..I'm getting to the point now where I've convinced myself he will live and now I just wanna love on him some ♡♡

I guess I haven't given an update lately. The first lavender is perfect. The first sebright is great. The second sebright died in the Bator. That's a first for me. Couldn't find anything wrong looking with it. This was the one that I popped the cap off for it, after it zipped all the way around and stalled, I think... Lol

Second lavender seems to have a leg issue. I'm giving it another day or so, may end up culling. Third lavender is the wrong end pipper that I assisted. Its now fine and dandy. Final lavender I did a safety hole, saw beak through the hole, but nothing today. Opened it more, DIS. Opened further and it had moved, but not into a position where it could hatch on its own. Looked perfect, fully absorbed, just not positioned right.

So one of my worst hatches.

Thoughts, weather change mid-incubation. We switched from heating to cooling in the house.

Another thought is maybe I didn't sanitize the bator well enough from the last hatch.

Third best possibility - hygrometers off, humidity issues.
