Oh so cute!! George is perfect, considering everyone who sees him is gonna wanna squeeze him and hug him and call him... Well, George! ;)
Oh so CUTE!! Big congrats!!!! :weee

So exciting! I was going to ask for pics but I saw them! Please post LOTS of ducky pics!!!
So cute!
I run 50% all the time with my silkie eggs, so if you were checking the air cells and growth was good then we can rule that out. I asked because sometimes styro & still airs do better with low humidity but the air cells will tell you. I'm so happy the last egg internally pipped! My silkies hatch day 21 if I run 99.5 (with forced air). So your egg is pretty much on time considering the low temps. Give him 24 hours and if you don't get an external pip then you can make a tiny, tiny safety hole just to let oxygen in. I have a pic. But I'm hoping and thinking he will pip on his own! :celebrate

Awesome! Congrats!
Yay! Usually you see an external pip within 24 hrs or so.

Woo hoo thanks everyone!! I'm so excited!! So far I'm loving the duck experience.. :)

Nothing yet, but I can still hear him peeping quite loudly in his shell. I played him some cheepy sounds off Youtube and bocked at him. I'm so afraid that he's not going to externally pip. I have no clue how long he had been internally pipped when I checked last night around 1 am. I guess I will just continue to monitor throughout the day.
if you candled and can see where the little one internally pipped you can point a flashlight towards where the beak is. It doesn't always work but mine seemed to work harder whenever they could see the light... :)

Day at 18! First day of my first lockdown. So excited! I received 6 shipped eggs and 4 made it past day 7. They got banged up pretty good in shipping and 2 had detached air cells. They developed into saddles and last night, after prepping the bator for lock down I decided to lay them on their sides with likely pip point up, just to see what would happen and the air cells fixed themselves! They look beautiful this morning! Here's to my soon to be pipping and hopefully some fuzzy butts!:fl. :jumpy
