Well it went up to 56 percent and stalled. I'm already using paper towels and a damp sponge. Anything else I can do?

Damp sponge in a low dish right under the vent so you can drip more water on it?

I have the advance model with the humidity pump, so it adjusts for me automatically. Ruby has more tricks to help, hopefully she'll check in soon.

On raising humidity AmyLyn is the bomb but not sure if u have same situation as hers. Are both plugs closed? Keep lid closed&vents tight if u need it to heat up. Might take 2hours to get temp stable.

Thanks. I've finally got it up to 65 percent. I was hoping to be closer to 70 percent that way if I have to help later on I can..

Its made with a hole cut into the lid for a piece of glass to fit. A hole for a light and the cord of the fan to fit in.i put in 6 holes to allow for ventilation, they dont help at all.i put in ice packs on the bottom to help hold heat in case of a power outage and i put pine shavings on top of the ice packs till the shavings were about an inch deep. I currently have a dozen eggs in the incubator they are on day 13/14, they should hatch on the 18/19. At least 5/6 have Prominent Veining and Movement, the others i cannot tell. I will post some pictures of the incubator in a little. Will you post some of what your incubator looks like, please?

Hopefully it works out for you this time! I have a third chick that died right before it finished hatching and there's another one still wobbling around in there but so far not even pipped so I don't know what will happen with it. My incubator is very messy right now from the other chicks hatching lol but I will post some pictures later when I'm home!

She's using the Brinsea 20 I believe. My "expertise" is styros.

Ruby struggled with her Octogon 20 after she got it for lockdown hatch, none of my styro tips helped.

I finally got my humidity up. Now to just keep it up for 3 days..
