I'm a newbie but I seriously spent hours researching this last night for my own chicks. It does look like it, except in the videos I watched they always looked slightly tanish.

Hi everyone! I am new and hoping to join your group. I set my first 6 eggs to hatch today. They are BR through the mail. Crossing my fingers and hoping that my 3 years of stalking BYC will pay off. Lol. I have never hatched before, but having a huge heart for animals and being a take charge kind of girl, I am definitely one to be a hands on hatcher if need be. We currently have 2 RIR's and a little gold laced bantam.
I have one quick question...I already feel like the chicken math is going to kick in. I am so excited to watch these babies pip and wonder how you guys can feed these addictions? Do you sell the majority of your chicks you raise?
