Ok, I have a question for the guinea hatchers.  When it comes time for the actual hatching process, do they reletively follow the same time line for chicks between internal pipping-zipping or do they tend to take longer like the ducks?

I haven't hatched them before but 8 heard someone say usually they hatch quickly like popcorn lol

They're pretty quick. I don't think I've had any take longer than 36 hours from IP to being out, really. High humidity is twice as crucial with them, though, IME.

FWIW, I have a peachick egg that pipped externally yesterday morning while under a duck. Last night I moved it to under a hen because that hen is closer to the house and I wanted to be able to check on it. This morning it's made no progress, so now it's in the hatcher with the humidity at 75%.

 do you know which articles had the info about the co2 build up causing the progression of the external pip? I know you'e read the same info.

Yea his legs are better he still the only one that hatched but two other eggs are pipping right now
