Hands on hatching and help

Suddenly my quote thingy quit working...I get the name but not what they said.....hmmmm. Glad Blooie is still with you and your ratio was so good. I can't believe I got almost every one of them called wrong. Dunno what "Ken's new flock" will bring, but I guess I wouldn't mind having a Silkie broody hatch a time or two - if I'm lucky enough to get some girls this time!

All have hatched, the yolk has almost completely dried up on the one. I do have one, the last one, that has a bent neck. Not sure if there is anything I can do. I'm giving her a little time to see how much she can move it on her own. Also her left leg is weaker, at this point she can't stand well. :(

Congrats on all the babies.

Well...I check my makeshift hatcher and the temp was way to dang high!!! I candled all of them quickly but am pretty sure I cooked 7 of them!!!! :hit. I am so upset with myself. I didn't have any spike like that when I tested for 2 days straight!!! I still have 3 doing okay...:fl. Pray for me! :(

Oh no! :fl

Asked this on the hatch along forum as well so sorry for redundancy. I candled my eggs (day 16) and they look more like the day 12 photos on the 'chicks are here' post. They are mostly active and the air sacs look good with exception of ones noted earlier. So, lock down would be Tuesday, should I wait a day or so and candle again? Also, when I take out the turner and put the eggs on the floor of the incubator, do I adjust the temp up as I am lowering the thermometer down to the level of the eggs so the temp is the same as it was when they were in the turner? Thanks.
